Eligibility Requirements
Age Requirements
Be age 13 – 18 for Miss America’s Teen – birth years 2007 – 2011 (must provide proof of age)
Residency Requirements
Work, live in, or go to school in Orem or Vineyard for at least three months (must provide proof of residency)
Other Requirements
Be a young woman who who is willing to serve her community and commit to a year of personal progress and self-development
Commitments
- Willing to commit to compete at Miss Utah's Teen 2025 and pay any associated state competition fees
- Commit to attending Orem Summerfest (2nd week of June)
- Attend all parades throughout Utah County during the summer
- Participate in Orem City's Veteran's Day and Memorial Day services, and
- Attend Orem City's "Lights On" event during the holidays (usually the end of November)
Contracts
Must comply with the Miss Orem Scholarship Organization Code of Conduct as well as the Miss America Organization contract and any other contracts pertaining to the competition
Due Dates:
- The Orientation Survey is due at orientation, but can be edited until May 1st, 2024
- All contracts (Local Code of Conduct and Miss America Organization Contract) and fees (Miss Orem local fee and Miss America registration fee) are due via the "Apply Here" link or in-person to Donna (miss) or Camille (teen) by March 21st, 2024
- All paper work (community service essay, personal fact sheet, and headshot) must be turned in via the "Final Paperwork Upload" link or in-person to Donna (Miss) or Camille (teen) by April 11th, 2024
- All sponsor ads are due by May 1st, 2024 (See contracts for more details)
- All talent tracks are due to Chase with the Scera (Chase@Scera.org) May 9th, 2024 (See contracts for more details)
- Final competition wardrobe due May 16th, 2024 (Bring with you to your dress rehearsal)
