About Miss Orem's Teen
Mia Dunn
Mia is a 17 year old student at Mountain View Highschool. Go Bruins! She is a Junior and will be Graduating in 2025, but is on track for early graduation. Mia is a big sister, little sister, and athlete! Mia has played softball a majority of her life and enjoys the challenge it brings to her life. Mia has run in the Miss America Organization for 4 years! The title of Miss Orem’s Teen has been a long term goal for her and it’s surreal that it’s happening! When Mia isn’t doing stuff for Never Start Always Prepared (NSAP) you can find her singing, with friends, or on long drives in the canyon. Mia is so grateful for the support she’s had this year and can’t wait to represent Orem at Miss Utah’s Teen in February!

Talent
Mias talent is vocal performance. She’s been singing since she could talk, and finds great peace in knowing her voice can bring comfort to others in times of need.
Fitness
Mias fitness goals are her favorite goals by far! You can usually find her in the gym with her fitness buddy, her dad! Mia makes it a goal to workout at least 3 times a week, and has found a new found love for running!
Community Service Initiative (CSI)
The purpose of Never Start Always Prepared teen drug awareness is to teach adolescents about the dangers and consequences of drug use, before addiction starts. The goal of these programs is to give teens the information and skills they need to make healthy decisions about their substance use. The main objectives of Never Start Always Prepared are; prevention, Education, Community Involvement, and risk perception. Mia's 2023 goal is to teach 150 people how to administer Naloxone!
